Typically, a relaxation session will run for 30 - 45 minutes. You will learn simple strategies and techniques for helping you to cope with stress. You will take part in breathing exercises, progressive relaxation {which works on releasing tension in the body} and visualisation. Sessions are run intuitively for the purpose and benefit of you and the group. No spiritual or religious beliefs are required as the sessions are grounded in an understanding of the mind/body connection and of how the brain works. At the end of the session, you will feel notably more relaxed and leave with a progressive collection of coping tools.
